Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

The inspector was really thorough and was patient in explaining to me what he was observing. He showed me where the shutoff valve was for the water and gave recommendations on various things. The report that was provided made sense and pictures were taken of some things that were found. The inspector was also very personable which put me at ease about asking questions. Thank you, Alex and Atlanta Property Inspections!

The inspector Frank came to our house to inspect the deck and provide a list of safety problems. While he was there we asked him to take a look at some termite damage in the attic.  When he went to the attic he spotted problems with a squirrel infestation requiring immediate action to correct for chewed wiring and unsanitary conditions.  We were unaware of this problem.  Frank provided a comprehensive inspection report in PDF format including multiple photos showing deck post deterioration, sagging joists and yes even a picture of the live squirrel in the attic. Frank is totally professional, knows his area of expertise very well and offers sound recommendations on how to correct problems without spending money for unnecessary improvements.  For example he told us the ledger board was in good shape and did not have to be replaced, only secured to the house wall with additional bolts. The small amount we paid for the inspection was well spent because the inspection will end up saving us money in the long run.

Atlanta Property Inspections came to do a pre-purchasing inspection on a home my husband and  I plan to buy! We had a very short due diligence period, but that was no issue for these guys. They fit us in their schedule on very short notice and were such a pleasure to work with. Cary and Riley came to do the inspection and did a fantastic job walking us through the inspection to let us know what they found, and suggestions on how to fix all of the issues! Shout out to Cary, for answering all of our questions and having such a great personality! We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help us through such a very stressful time. We HIGHLY recommend this company!

I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Dustin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my client feel confident in his explanations.  He was quick to point out the positives of the home he was inspecting.  His report was delivered within 18 hours of the inspection and had plenty of photos and very easy explanations in laymen's terms. I highly recommend Atlanta Property Inspections.

How Long Does It Take to Do a Home Inspection

Did you recently purchase an older property that needs to be assessed for hidden dangers? Are you thinking about buying a previously owned home but want to make sure that it is a safe investment? Home inspection services are one of the best ways for owners to ensure that their property offers a secure environment for those living inside. If you’re concerned about the well-being of your house, then call Atlanta Property Inspections today. Whether you are renting a home or are using the property for your own family, our reliable home inspectors have the training and experience required to identify signs of trouble. One of the most frequent questions that property owners have about their home inspection service is how long it will last. While it would be nice to deliver a concise one-size-fits-all answer, the truth is that it depends. There are multiple factors involved in the amount of time your home inspectors will need to properly assess the condition of the property. Read below to find out what those factors are so you can have an idea of what to expect for your own appointment.

Size

The size of the home generally affects the length of time required for a home inspection service. Larger homes typically take longer to inspect than smaller homes due to the increased number of rooms and areas that need to be checked.

Location

If the property is located in a remote area, the inspector may need to allow extra time for travel. In general, it is best to schedule a home inspection service during good weather conditions and when there is plenty of daylight available.

Weather Conditions

The local climate can also affect the amount of time required for a home inspection service. For example, if the property is located in an area that experiences severe weather conditions, such as hurricanes or tornadoes, the inspector may need to spend more time checking for damage.

Age

Older homes or those in poor condition may require more time to inspect thoroughly. Properties that are more than 50 years old or in need of major repairs are likely to take longer to inspect than newer properties.

Do You Need a Professional Home Inspection Service? Call Atlanta Property Inspections

While the average home inspection takes between two and three hours, some may take longer, depending on the factors mentioned above. If you are concerned about the length of time an inspection might take, be sure to discuss this with your inspector in advance. They can give you a more specific estimate based on the property you are having inspected. Are you ready to invest in a home inspection for your Atlanta, Georgia, area property?
