I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Thorough knowledge of items addressed in report. Home inspector was able to communicate any issues found with buyer and help explain the different items and their severity.

Frank Cooper and his team from Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc were excellent! They arrived on time  and thoroughly inspected all areas of the property I was considering renting. They found things that needed to be repaired by the landlord before we signed the lease. Frank reviewed his findings with us. He explained all of his concerns, and he patiently answered all of our questions. Then the next day I received a very detailed report that included several pictures and detailed explanations. If you want a kind, knowledgeable, and thorough inspector, don’t hesitate to call Frank Cooper with Atlanta Property. I would highly recommend him! Truly a 5 star company!

WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

The inspector Frank came to our house to inspect the deck and provide a list of safety problems. While he was there we asked him to take a look at some termite damage in the attic.  When he went to the attic he spotted problems with a squirrel infestation requiring immediate action to correct for chewed wiring and unsanitary conditions.  We were unaware of this problem.  Frank provided a comprehensive inspection report in PDF format including multiple photos showing deck post deterioration, sagging joists and yes even a picture of the live squirrel in the attic. Frank is totally professional, knows his area of expertise very well and offers sound recommendations on how to correct problems without spending money for unnecessary improvements.  For example he told us the ledger board was in good shape and did not have to be replaced, only secured to the house wall with additional bolts. The small amount we paid for the inspection was well spent because the inspection will end up saving us money in the long run.

This was our first experience with Atlanta Property Inspections, Frank Cooper was the lead inspector and he was inspecting a new construction one bedroom plus den in Alpharetta for a buyer client of ours. The inspection report was both detailed and comprehensive. We have tried out a few premium home inspection companies over the past year, looking for a good additional inspection resource, and based on our experience with Frank Cooper, I think we have found it.

My client used the company for their home inspection during their due diligence period. Jeremy and his partner were very kind and accommodating with answering questions. The report was very thorough and I like that they also note positive things about the homes in their report as well and not just what's wrong with the house. You can read the good and the bad.

Atlanta Property Inspections came to do a pre-purchasing inspection on a home my husband and  I plan to buy! We had a very short due diligence period, but that was no issue for these guys. They fit us in their schedule on very short notice and were such a pleasure to work with. Cary and Riley came to do the inspection and did a fantastic job walking us through the inspection to let us know what they found, and suggestions on how to fix all of the issues! Shout out to Cary, for answering all of our questions and having such a great personality! We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help us through such a very stressful time. We HIGHLY recommend this company!

Atlanta property inspections gave me a very competitor quote and stuck to it for final pricing. They were able to get someone out to do the inspection so quickly. Frank and James were very thorough and helpful during the process they encouraged me to look at what they found, the good and bad, so I knew exactly what I am buying.  I couldn't have asked for a better inspection experience!

The 3 Most Common Inspection Mistakes

A home inspection in Alpharetta, GA is an excellent service for buyers and sellers to assess the condition of a property. It allows the buyer to understand a property's condition before looking at others. It will enable the seller to increase the value of their property by fixing its problems. Unfortunately, many homeowners make three common inspection mistakes. So, to help you understand and go over these mistakes in detail, we have prepared this guide for you. If you are looking to learn more, call the professionals of Atlanta Property Inspection today.

Avoiding Inspection on a New Build

There is a common misconception that a new build doesn’t require an inspection. Due to this false belief, most of the new builds don’t get inspected at all, while others get one that is less thorough than how standard inspections proceed. If you have recently bought a new house, don’t avoid getting a home inspection service soon. A new house doesn’t guarantee a problem-free years in the future. A simple mistake made by the contractors or builders can result in extensive damage to your home.

Not Attending the Inspection or Reading the Report

Consider every time you spend on fixing things in your house as a way of investing for the future. Many homeowners don’t attend the inspection; only some read the end report from experienced home inspectors. Set aside a couple of hours for the inspection day to follow the inspectors. While they will be looking for any problems in the house that can raise major issues for the homeowner, you should ask any question that comes to your mind. By doing so, you will be able to understand the condition of your house. Inspectors can also advise on the estimates for repairs, upgrades, or replacements needed in the house.

Not Knowing Who You Should Work With

Lastly, it is essential to research the company and staff giving the inspection service. Don’t simply jump at the first company you see or hear from someone. Research more about them. You can also contact them to see how long they have been in this industry. Have the inspectors received any professional training or certifications? Are the customers satisfied with the service given? How many inspection services have they given before? Lastly, check with them and ask them what their inspection service includes. While it may be tempting to quickly opt for an affordable option, looking for a quality service is a better investment for the homeowner in the long run.
