Atlanta Property Inspections came to do a pre-purchasing inspection on a home my husband and  I plan to buy! We had a very short due diligence period, but that was no issue for these guys. They fit us in their schedule on very short notice and were such a pleasure to work with. Cary and Riley came to do the inspection and did a fantastic job walking us through the inspection to let us know what they found, and suggestions on how to fix all of the issues! Shout out to Cary, for answering all of our questions and having such a great personality! We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help us through such a very stressful time. We HIGHLY recommend this company!

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. was referred to us by our realtor for our home inspection. Our inspector was Cary Cooper. He really took the time to answer all of our questions about his findings. We didn't feel rushed or that any question was too silly. He gave us peace of mind with a few of our concerns and was honest, even if we weren't to thrilled with the news. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely use (and refer)  Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. in the future for any inspection needs.

Have used Atlanta Property Inspections several times for my buyers.  Their team is always very thorough and educational for the new home owners.  Much information is shared about past/current codes, potential issues and how to have the issues repaired.  I will continue to use Atlanta Property Inspectors for future inspections, and my clients have been very happy with their services as well!

My client used the company for their home inspection during their due diligence period. Jeremy and his partner were very kind and accommodating with answering questions. The report was very thorough and I like that they also note positive things about the homes in their report as well and not just what's wrong with the house. You can read the good and the bad.

WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

Dustin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my client feel confident in his explanations.  He was quick to point out the positives of the home he was inspecting.  His report was delivered within 18 hours of the inspection and had plenty of photos and very easy explanations in laymen's terms. I highly recommend Atlanta Property Inspections.

Thorough knowledge of items addressed in report. Home inspector was able to communicate any issues found with buyer and help explain the different items and their severity.

This was our first experience with Atlanta Property Inspections, Frank Cooper was the lead inspector and he was inspecting a new construction one bedroom plus den in Alpharetta for a buyer client of ours. The inspection report was both detailed and comprehensive. We have tried out a few premium home inspection companies over the past year, looking for a good additional inspection resource, and based on our experience with Frank Cooper, I think we have found it.

What’s in Your Drinking Water?

Every water taste different from one another. Even in the same city, different districts and even neighborhoods can have different tasting waters. That’s mainly because of the different elements and components found in the water. Since we use water this much every single day, we must know what it is because our health is inside it. In this article, we will go over some of the components of our drinking water.

Sources

Well, our drinking water can come from many different sources and the source is one of the main factors that define the taste of the water. It can come from surface waters such as lakes, rivers, or even reservoirs. Another source is groundwater, which is found deep inside the earth. In most cases, groundwater is cleaner and safer to drink because surface water is constantly exposed to many weather conditions, acids, and other contaminants so it is easier for it to be harmful to human health.

Lead

Unfortunately, Lead is one of the most found elements in the water. As you may be aware of it, lead is associated with many different health problems in both adults and kids. In adults, it can cause kidney failure, hypertension, cardiological problems, and joint pain. Similarly, it is associated with neurological problems in kids. Even though lead pipes aren’t commonly used nowadays, it is still found in drinking waters, especially if you are living in an older settlement.

Pathogens

Just like humans, many living organisms need water to survive; so, many microorganisms can be found inside the water. Unfortunately, many of these microorganisms aren’t beneficial for human health and are pathogens. Even though many regulations and steps were taken to avoid pathogens in drinking waters, they aren’t completely eradicated.

Sodium

At least this one is good news! Sodium is one of the most frequently found elements in our waters. However, this is not a bad sign because it is one of the most necessary electrolytes for your body that is essential for your metabolism and health. We need sodium in our bodies and luckily our drinking waters can give it to us.

Zinc

Another element found in drinking water is zinc. It is added to the water source mainly to avoid pathogens, but this is a good thing for us. That’s because just like sodium, zinc is another electrolyte in our bodies that is essential for our health. You may know that doctors prescribe zinc for the treatment of many diseases and conditions such as diabetes, acne, diarrhea, etc. So, if it is found in the right amounts, zinc in your drinking water can be very beneficial.

Importance of Testing Your Water

Did you move into a new city or neighborhood and want to know the quality of your water? Well, with today’s technology, it is possible to find out exactly what is inside your water. Call the Atlanta Property Inspection so we can come to your house and send your water to the water testing facilities and help you get the exact results. Depending on the components of your water or their levels, you may decide to install a water filter, so your water is safe to drink once again.
