Atlanta property inspections gave me a very competitor quote and stuck to it for final pricing. They were able to get someone out to do the inspection so quickly. Frank and James were very thorough and helpful during the process they encouraged me to look at what they found, the good and bad, so I knew exactly what I am buying.  I couldn't have asked for a better inspection experience!

Have used Atlanta Property Inspections several times for my buyers.  Their team is always very thorough and educational for the new home owners.  Much information is shared about past/current codes, potential issues and how to have the issues repaired.  I will continue to use Atlanta Property Inspectors for future inspections, and my clients have been very happy with their services as well!

Atlanta Property Inspections came to do a pre-purchasing inspection on a home my husband and  I plan to buy! We had a very short due diligence period, but that was no issue for these guys. They fit us in their schedule on very short notice and were such a pleasure to work with. Cary and Riley came to do the inspection and did a fantastic job walking us through the inspection to let us know what they found, and suggestions on how to fix all of the issues! Shout out to Cary, for answering all of our questions and having such a great personality! We truly appreciate you guys taking the time to help us through such a very stressful time. We HIGHLY recommend this company!

Dustin was very knowledgeable and friendly and made my client feel confident in his explanations.  He was quick to point out the positives of the home he was inspecting.  His report was delivered within 18 hours of the inspection and had plenty of photos and very easy explanations in laymen's terms. I highly recommend Atlanta Property Inspections.

WOW! I can't even make this story up. In this very crazy market (June 2021) it seemingly takes 2 week closing (sometimes with *0* days due diligence!) to purchase a home. Anyway, Frank came recommended by another very reputable inspector, and I was fortunate he came!! The home we were looking at for my mother was a 1975 build and within 1 hour of the inspector being there a FIRE from an electrical panel broke out! Frank contained the fire, and was SO calm, had his team address the matter, was in touch with the agent and homeowner. He said in over 20+ years of him inspecting homes nothing like this had ever happened. Anyway the inspection was VERY thorough and Frank handled all matters very professionally. We will be working with Frank and his team on any home inspections in the future. I highly recommend!

I would like to recommend Brandon for his excellent job during the inspection. He is very professional, thorough and is an expert in his field. I enjoyed his partnership during inspection, the knowledge he shared of the risks of certain issues was incredible. I am very glad that he inspected the house for us and wishing him more success in future.

Jeremy was the best to work with! He was on time,  very thorough in his explanations of his findings, and took time with my clients to make sure he answered all of their questions. He was detailed, and provided follow up when we needed additional questions answered. He went above and beyond! Best, quality, customer service I’ve seen in a long time! I’ll recommend him and Atlanta Property Inspections every time!

I called several companies for quotes, and I felt that Atlanta Property Inspections was the most welcoming!  Thereafter, I had a wonderful experience at the inspection. My inspector was thorough, kind, and willing to explain things and answer my questions on site.  He was very knowledgeable and very friendly.  I am glad I did not skip the inspection for this 950 square foot condo, and the review has been very helpful, during my due diligence period in evaluating this potential home.

Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. was referred to us by our realtor for our home inspection. Our inspector was Cary Cooper. He really took the time to answer all of our questions about his findings. We didn't feel rushed or that any question was too silly. He gave us peace of mind with a few of our concerns and was honest, even if we weren't to thrilled with the news. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely use (and refer)  Atlanta Property Inspections, Inc. in the future for any inspection needs.

Your Home's Best Defenses Against Air Pollution

Even though it is mainly invisible, air pollution can be very dangerous to our health. It is important for every homeowner to feel confident knowing that the air their family breathes indoors is clean and safe. That’s why we believe it is important for everyone to know what indoor and outdoor air pollution is and how they can increase the air quality in their homes. So, to help you understand this and answer any questions, we have prepared a guide for you. If you want to learn more about how to defend against air pollution in your home, call Atlanta Property Inspections today.

Indoor Air Pollution vs. Outdoor Air Pollution

Indoor air is, as the name suggests, the air that is present in a confined space. With this article you are reading, we are mainly talking about the indoor air of a house. Outdoor air is the air that is outside of buildings. With the pollution of this world, outdoor air is starting to be a major threat to our health and climate. On the contrary, indoor air has been improving as homeowners are now being informed about the dangers in their houses that cause damage to their family’s health. These dangers include paint partially made with lead, use of asbestos, ignoring carbon monoxide, and many more. These pollutants become trapped in a home where there is no ventilation. Despite the decrease in the use of these items that cause indoor air pollution, outdoor pollutants are now starting to affect indoor air pollution. For example, the imbalances and increase in ozone, lead, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen are some things that every homeowner should consider when they are looking to defend their homes against air pollution. Thankfully, there are now some tips that we can all use to take precautions about this important risk.

Tips to Preserve A Good Air Quality In Your Homes

  • Don’t Smoke Inside: If you are currently smoking in your house, your number one priority should be to avoid this action inside. Smoking inside your home results in the fumes polluting the indoor air and causing a decrease in the air quality.
  • Install a Ventilation System: If you don’t already have one, a very important system that everyone should install is a ventilation system. A ventilation system is equipped with filters to allow only clean air inside the house and provide ventilation to the environment trapped with pollutants.
  • Clean House Regularly: One obvious tip is the importance of regular cleaning. If you can clean your house regularly, you will reduce dust and mold growth, which will improve general indoor air quality. While doing this, make sure to choose products that are low-emission.
  • Monitor Humidity Levels: Lastly, monitoring humidity levels is important. If you feel that your house's indoor air is humid, you must make sure that it doesn’t exceed seventy percent humidity. If it does, all the conditions for mold growth would be met, which would end up with health problems for the residents over the long term.
